It’s time to unveil the full programme of events and performances for our inaugural festive series ‘The 12 Dates of Christmas’, a brand new seasonal programme taking place this December. A diverse and ambitious programme of twelve events taking place across our site, the debut Christmas programme will include everything from pop-stars and stand up comedy to candlelit classical music, funk and soul parties and much more.

Rounding out the full line-up is four more events including a massive New Year’s Eve party with Ministry of Sound artist and internationally renowned sax player Ellie Sax. After a busy summer in Ibiza where her saxophone-infused club residencies have been getting dancefloors grooving, Ellie Sax and guests will be on hand to see Wakefield into 2025 with a night of club classics. 

Joining her at Tileyard North this winter are Masters of the Scene (AKA the UK’s ultimate ABBA tribute band) on the 20th of December, as well as the debut of Comedy at Christmas! featuring the brilliant Angelos Epithemiou (Shooting Stars, The Angelos Epithemiou Show), Brennan Reece (Live At The Apollo, Stand Up Sketch Show),  Rob Rouse (Upstart Crow, ’The Friday Night Project) and Stephen Bailey (Live At The Apollo, 8 Out Of 10 Cats) and finally RETRO, the UK’s biggest House Music classics brand which will return to Wakefield with a huge line up on 28th December.

Also announced is a second-date with Wakefield’s own Skinny Living. Added due to phenomenal demand following the sell-out first night, the hometown indie band will be rounding out a massive year as part of the 12 Dates of Christmas playing to a home crowd for a celebration of their imminent debut album ‘Day By Day’.

These events join the previously announced Marvin Humes’ Noughties Baby, Bingo Bango, Craig Charles Funk and Soul House Party , The Yorkshire Symphony Orchestra Candlelit Christmas, LIVE! At The Yard: Country Christmas, and Definitely Oasis rounding out a carefully curated programme of events designed for everyone in Wakefield to enjoy.
