We have announced our inaugural festive event series ‘The 12 Dates of Christmas’, a brand new seasonal programme taking place this December.

A diverse and ambitious programme of twelve events taking place across our hub’s venues and spaces, our debut Christmas programme will include everything from pop-stars and stand up comedy to candlelit classical music, funk & soul parties and much more.

Sharing an early preview of the exciting debut programme, we have unveiled three of the event’s headline performers today. Leading this announcement is Marvin Humes who will kick off the event series on 6th December with his unmissable Noughties Baby show which, featuring all the sing-along hits of the decade and more, promises to be the biggest party this side of the millennium.

Also announced today is the eclectic Bingo Bango, a must-visit experience that blends together the timeless pastime with room-shaking party anthems;  an interactive, irreverent game show from the golden age of TV and much more.

Capping off our first announcement is a special live performance from Wakefield’s very own Skinny Living. On 21st December, the beloved indie-soul power trio will be playing one their biggest hometown shows to date within our 800-capacity venue to celebrate the release of their long-awaited debut album, ‘Day by Day’.

Pre-sale sign ups for The 12 Dates of Christmas are open now with a limited allocation of discounted early bird tickets going on-sale on 8th August. In the spirit of the season, those who sign up for the pre-sale before August 8th will automatically be entered into a draw to win two tickets to every night of the programme as well as a £100 bar tab and food vouchers at one event of their choice to help celebrate their win in style.
