Tileyard North residents North Star 360 have announced their 2023 Summer Camp programme – backed by Wakefield Council. 

North Star 360 is renowned for its comprehensive music and creative industries training and development programme, offering students an invaluable opportunity to gain hands-on, practical experience. And now, they are bringing their expertise and passion to the forefront with the launch of their Summer Camp 2023 for 14-16 year olds.

From August 14th to August 18th, participants will embark on a 5-day journey, expertly crafted to elevate their skills as music makers. The programme will be a blend of tutor-led modules, mentor-led practical sessions and insightful talks from industry professionals to help enhance participants skills and experience as a music maker. 

Ending with a review and evaluation of the tracks and associated media created by each team and their mentors, each team will leave with a comprehensive understanding of the music industry’s mechanics. Following on from the development camp, North Star 360 will host a celebration event to showcase the success of the week and invite more young people to experience sample sessions with tutors and express their interest in future events.
