go back

Tileyard North is proud to welcome Kasia Howley to its community in Wakefield, as she moves her practice into the studios on Wakefield’s Waterfront.

Kasia is a Vocal Coach and Certified Vocal Massage Therapist with over seven years of experience coaching at leading drama schools, vocational institutions and currently works as one of the resident singing technique tutors at Emil Dale Academy. She holds a BA(Hons) Degree in Musical Theatre from Arts Educational Schools London and is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Vocal Pedagogy through the Voice Study Centre. Alongside this Kasia is a certified Level 2 Vocal Health First Aider and a certified Vocal Massage Therapist having studied under the Voice Care Centre.

Kasia is also a professional piano vocalist and has graced iconic venues like The Royal Albert Hall, Trafalgar Square, and The London Hippodrome Casino. She has collaborated with renowned composers and performers such as Kerry Ellis, Scott Alan, and Oliver Tompsett, and is featured as a soloist on concept albums alongside notable artists like Ramin Karimloo and Lea Salonga.

Now based at Tileyard North in West Yorkshire, Kasia’s teaching approach fosters a safe, supportive, and encouraging environment for students, ranging from aspiring performers to professionals, many of whom have gone on to secure places at top drama schools, perform in West End and touring productions or work professionally as musicians.

Celebrating the move, Kasia commented: “After using the plug and play studios for the last 8 months, I am so pleased to now be a permanent resident at Tileyard North. I immediately felt at home when using the studios at TYN and it felt like the perfect fit for my business. It is a real pleasure to be a part of such a vibrant and creative community and I can confidently say that my students and clients love TYN just as much as I do!”

Tileyard North’s Studio Manager, George Riley, added: “Kasia was one of the first regular users of our plug and play studios at TYN, and it’s fantastic that she has chosen to make our studios her permanent home for her thriving business. Her expertise is a welcome asset to our burgeoning community, and the constant stream of ambitious talent that she brings through the site is inspiring, and proof that TYN is a well needed and valuable resource for the region’s creatives.”
