For the second year, Tileyard North is partnering with Long Division, Wakefield’s largest music and culture festival.
Last month, they shared their 2022 line-up, announcing 70 artists hosted across nine different venues in the city centre.
Taking place on the 11th of June 2022, we will once again sponsor the Mechanics Stage, which focuses on celebrating emerging talent via its curated programme. Through our ongoing relationship with Long Division and Dean Freeman (the festival’s Director), we are thrilled to celebrate the arts in the North of the UK, especially in the year of our opening here at Tileyard North.
Following the success of 2021, we introduce this year’s Tileyard artist, Veira, who has joined the line-up – a Tileyard Education alumnus and a winner of the Tileyard Education X Tileyard Music Emerging Artist Records Competition.
Long Division will feature ‘some of the very best established acts, right across to buzzing emerging artists’ supporting the grassroots music scene of our new home in Wakefield.
