Following a successful launch event with residents and partners, Tileyard North has officially opened its newest venue onsite, Vinyl Cafe North – a cafe and events space set to become a vibrant spot for the local community and Tileyard’s creative residents alike.

Open weekdays from 8am to 3pm, Vinyl Cafe North is a laid-back, brunch-style cafe offering a perfect place to work, meet, and enjoy delicious food. The cafe is designed to serve both a quick bite for those on the go, as well as a relaxing space for longer catch-ups. With a licensed bar twist, they will also serve up your favourite drinks and extend their hours for special events throughout the week.

Whether you’re craving Avocado on Toast, Steak & Eggs, or a Caprese Wrap, or simply fancy a Flat White – with coffee produced by local roastery Recent Beans – they have got something for everyone. Vinyl Cafe North invites you to enjoy its fresh menu and welcoming atmosphere.

Bringing the energy and ethos of Tileyard North to life, Vinyl Cafe North will be more than just a cafe. It’s set to host a variety of exciting events, including Lo-Fi music nights, comedy evenings, record launches, and intimate live gigs.

To kick things off in style, The Dunwells will be headlining the first-ever live gig on 27th October. The Leeds-based indie-folk-pop band, are bringing their strong vocals and powerhouse melodies to Wakefield, hear the hit singles you know and love from ‘Light Up The Sky’ and ‘Something in the Water’.
