News just in! We have announced our latest exciting alliance with Leeds-based flexible space provider 2-Work, to provide coworking and office space within our Wakefield development.

Already providing space for emerging talents with state-of-the-art recording studios, creative workspace and an array of amenities tailored for our residents, we recognised the need for further serviced offerings in the creative hub, to extend our provision further. 

By partnering with flex space specialists 2-Work, this dynamic environment will encourage not only a cross-pollination of ideas, but open a broader community within our grade II listed site, leading to new connections and associations that may not have otherwise occurred.

2-Work, based in central Leeds, has been revolutionising the concept of workspaces with a commitment to providing flexible, vibrant, and innovative work environments. Whilst their spaces are designed to adapt to the ever-changing needs of modern businesses and professionals, they offer a variety of coworking desks, private offices and meeting rooms aiming to host freelancers, startups, and established companies alike.

Their emphasis on community and collaboration aligns perfectly with our ethos here at Tileyard North, making us natural partners in pursuit of establishing a thriving network. By combining our two dynamic entities, and with 2-Work’s expertise in designing functional and flexible workspaces, we promise to create a hub of artistic excellence whilst fostering an environment of growth and synergy.

The initial first phase of the partnership, set to be operational by December 2023, sees 2-Work create a combined space to include coworking, dedicated hot desking and private office suites ranging from 200sq ft to 800+ sq ft. 

A second phase of space will be available next year with the provision of a brand new 40,000sq ft building for which 2-Work plan to operate a floor of flexible suites for businesses that want to base themselves at the heart of a creative community.

Our combination of strengths are set to shape a future where artists, entrepreneurs and professionals can grow and transform in a specially designed location. With onsite hospitality operators and events like Peddler Market Wakefield held onsite, this creative melting pot is set to inspire a new wave of innovation that could potentially redefine the landscape of the region.
